The recent work that has been made since autumn 2020 has been achieved with the financial support of the 'Stiftung Rheinland-Pfalz für Kultur'. This project continued through 2021 and promotes nature in and around the locality where Corin has his studio: the river Saar and the animals that live in the Saar valley. The studying of 'found' objects and stuffed specimens was important to the artists in the previous centuries, as well as the unnatural cramming in many birds and animals into paintings. This series of paintings will have locally seen animals in the local landscape.
